This week our students will be going on “Urban Hikes” where they explore different areas of our great Kansas City metro. On Tuesday and Wednesday, students will be going on field trips to further their learning. Once they return, they will be blogging their reflection and posting to our Leading EDGE blog.
We would like to thank the Liberty Education Foundation for funding the Urban Hikes! As PBL is part of our culture, a group of students formed a committee to organize, budget, pitch, and implement all six learning opportunities. As organizers, these kids were able to achieve additional competencies within their learning, including in the area of Personal Finance.
